Each tier varies in scope and depth, from simple drawing packages to fully coordinated design and project management.

Essential

A focused drawing service covering the key design and technical stages. Typically used for smaller or lower specification projects, where clients take responsibility for managing surveys and consultants.

Standard

A balanced level of support that includes design development, limited design iteration, and assistance with organising consultants. This option suits clients looking for guidance while remaining hands-on in the process.

Comprehensive

Our most complete service, offering in depth design exploration, multiple feasibility and design options, and full coordination of consultants, surveys, and reports. Perfect for clients seeking a fully managed and collaborative approach.

Roles and Responsibility.

Client

Responsible for organising all required consultant quotations, surveys and reports.

Make their own enquiries with contractors / builders for pricing of building works

Designer

Provide 2D drawing information as required for full / householder planning application or full plans building regulation application

Complete necessary forms and make planning and building regulation submissions on behalf of the client

Can carry out measured building survey and produce 2D existing drawings for agreed additional service fee

Consultants

All required consultants to communicate directly with the client regarding quotations, surveys and reports

Client

Client to communicate with consultants to arrange surveys and site visits as required

Make their own enquiries with contractors / builders for pricing of building works

Designer

Source external consultant quotations and forward to client for review

Provide 2D drawing information and sketch 3D models of 1-2 concept design options for client review

Provide 2D drawings and 3D sketch models of preferred design option

Provide necessary drawing information required for full / householder planning application and full plans building regulation application

Complete necessary forms and make planning and building regulation submissions on behalf of the client

Meeting to give advice on tender process and approaching contractors

Should a design and access statement be required this can be included as an additional service

Consultants

Communicate directly with clients regarding site visits and surveys

Discuss outcomes of surveys and reports directly with designer to integrate into drawing information

Client

Respond to correspondence and provide feedback on design proposals

Designer

Handle all communication with consultants to arrange quotations, surveys and site visits as required

Carry out initial feasibility studies early on to explore potential design options

Provide a comprehensive design report outlining 2-3 options for client review

Create detailed 3D models and images as part of design report

Design and access statement included should this be required

Provide necessary drawing information required for full / householder planning application and full plans building regulation application

Complete necessary forms and make planning and building regulation submissions on behalf of the client and monitor throughout the application period

Provide additional technical information, schedules and specifications for detailed and accurate pricing

Consultants

Communicate directly with the designer for all design and project coordination
